MacBook Air M2 freezes when using Sidecar with 10th gen iPad after sonoma update

I've recently updated my MacBook Air M2 to Sonoma and have been strugling with lagging/screen freezing whenever I connect it to mi iPad using Sidecar, no matter if it's wireless or via USB-C.

I've checked my activity monitor, downloaded and ran CleanMyMac X, and nothing seems to work.

As soon as I disconnect Sidecar, everything comes back to normal.

Before I updated it to Sonoma, I used Sidecar everyday without any problems whatsoever.

Has anyone else been having this same issue?
