Pop-ups after Sonoma update
I've upgraded to Sonoma. Now, every time I start my Mac I get two pop-ups: 'USBserver (or Netserver) would like to access data from other apps - Don't Allow/Allow'. How do I stop or resolve this?

Found the solution! It's connected to Brother printer software.
Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Printers > Brother > Utilities > Server
then delete the contents of "Server" = USBserver, NETserver, LOGINserver.
Reboot and the popups have gone!
The above three files are apparently legacy 32-bit apps that are installed by the Brother software but not needed at all for the printer to function fully, so are safe to delete.

Upon attempting to remove the files, I get a message that they cannot be removed because they are in use. Any ideas?
Use Activity Monitor to kill/stop the offending tasks (LoginServer, NetServer and USBServer). Then try dragging the apps to the trash and deleting them. Then reboot your Mac.
I appreciate it, it was useful!
NETserver and USB Server popping up every time at startup was really annoying.
After booting my Mac in safe mode, I was able to remove those files.
Thank you once more!
I was able to force quit NETServer and USBServer and then delete them but could not get LoginServer to Quit. Tried Force Quit, Quit, rebooted, emptied the trash etc to no avail. The system reads (Terminated) but LoginServer just will not quit. any suggestions?
I found an answer to the 'cannot remove because they are in use' problem. Instead of moving the apps to the trash, move the "Server" folder in which the apps are located to the trash. After restart I do not have those annoying pop-ups.
Same here, @rnaida. Did you ever receive an answer?
Nope. But the pop-ups have stopped (for now).
This worked for me. Thanks. This was getting very annoying.
thanks
