accessing quick notes with finger swipe from right bottom corner
Why can’t I use this. I see the finger swipe setup in lighter grey than the greyed out buttons. Is there another
setup I missed? I use the quick notes all the time.

To use the corner-swipe gesture, you need to disable Stage Manager:
iPadOS 16.x
Settings > Home Screen & Multitasking > Stage Manager > Use Stage Manager on iPad - set to OFF
iPadOS 17.x
Settings > Multitasking & Gestures > [Multitasking] - select OFF or Split View & Slide Over
While the finger corner-swipe gestures are disabled when Stage Stage Manager mode is active, the gestures remain available using an Apple Pencil.
