ERROR IN REVIVING A MBA M1 2020

when I'm trying to reviving my mba, there is a pop up message says "Gave up waiting for device to transition from Recovery state to BootedOS state. [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFC9 (4041)]". How To Fix it manually, TIA!

Macbook Pro M1 Revive/Restore Apple Configurator Error 4016 Hey, So i have 2 Macbook Pro M1s where one of them seems to have broken firmware where i try to revive and also tried restore via Apple Configurator. I get the broken M1 in to DFU mode, i see it in Apple Configurator, i try revive and i have also tried restore. But when it gets to step 4/4 around the middle the broken M1 reboots and then i get a error message on Apple Configurator saying below: "Unexpected device state 'BootedOS' expected 'DFU' (Probably caused by a transient USB layer issue causing missing or duplicate events) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFB0 (4016)]" What is wrong, is it hardware issues or something else?

DFU Revive and Restore Error Unfortunately, my M1 Pro MacBook Pro has become a brick overnight. I woke it up in the morning to find a black screen with an exclamation point in the middle and a link to: support.apple.com/mac/restore. I followed the steps outlined in the support article on how to use Apple Configurator and another Mac to revive/restore the device and was met with this error as the process seemingly was drawing to a close: The System cannot be restored on this device. Unexpected device state 'DFU' expected 'RestoreOS' (Probably forced into DFU mode externally) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore - OxFAE (4014)] Before this point I have been thrilled with the performance of this MBP but this turn of events is quite disappointing. Also, it's over 9 hours round trip for me to the nearest Apple Store, so that is just not a very feasible fix right now–especially since it seems likely to me that they're only going to try what I have already, then charge me for a hardware fix. Anyone have any ideas, or encountered this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey lexill04,

Do you have an iPad or an iPhone connected to your MacBook Air? If yes, please see this article for more information about the error you receive: If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

Plug your device directly into your computer
Plug your iPhone, iPad, or iPod directly into your computer's USB port (not into an attached keyboard or USB hub). Make sure that the cable is in good condition.
Make sure that your device is unlocked. If prompted, trust your device.
If you still see an error alert, try a different Apple USB cable or switch to a different USB port on your computer.

Restart your computer and your device
Turn off your computer, then turn it on again. Next, restart your device.
Check your computer's security software
