When searching messages on an iPhone 12 Pro that's on IOS 17.2 no results are returning when I know for a fact that there should be results. This is on keywords or contact names, neither are returning results since the update.

At this time iOS 17.2 is not an officially released version of software. From Apple Beta — FAQ:
"Beta software may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not function as well as commercially released software. We encourage you to submit feedback when you encounter these issues. If you need further assistance, please note that you must restore to previously-released software prior to contacting AppleCare."
