Airpod pro 2nd gen no firmware update

High possibility of it being a super clone unit. Superclone units (Superpods) are able to bypass the Apple IOS authenticity checking mechanism by having the serial numbers of original units that have been disposed of due to being faulty, etc.

One weakness of Superpods is cannot update the firmware because Apple servers detect it as not being the original unit from Apple.

Go here, and see if you have the latest: About Firmware Updates for AirPods - Apple Support. Unfortunately, your cannot push AirPod updates. So, pair these to a device that is already connected to the Internet, and they will be updated automatically, sure enough.
