After updating to ios 17 horizontal red or pink line occured in display at bottom in iphone xr

Display started showing horizontal red line at bottom after updating to ios 17.0.2. Contacted Apple support they ran a test and said it’s not software issue but a hardware problem and I have to pay ₹18000 for it. Why should I pay if the damage is not physical and it’s due to software update? Apple should replace display free.

Iphone 13 pro is showing horizontol green lines on full screen right after update of 17.4.1 ios The device is out of warranty. Apple have mentioned this is the known issue for this model but service center asked me to pay for display change. Plz fix my issue@Apple I cannot pay at the moment.

iPhone new display detected Hello ! I live in China. My iPhone 12 mini screen had a green line problem and I got a new display installed in a local shop. I don’t know whether it’s a legitimate Apple part but it works perfectly. Now I get a prompt : “New display detected : Restart and finish repair”. What will happen if I do ?
