How to reenable the power button on a 2020 MacBook Pro using the terminal

On the 2020 Macbook pro's if you just pressed down on the power/touch ID button once it would send you back to the log-in page, however at the time I disliked this and entered the terminal command "defaults write com.apple.loginwindow DisableScreenLockImmediate -bool yes" to disable said feature. How would I be able to reenable this? I tried just switching the Disable to Enable, however it didn't work.

Try,

defaults write com.apple.loginwindow DisableScreenLockImmediate -bool no

or

defaults delete com.apple.loginwindow DisableScreenLockImmediate

The preference settings are not commands. They are key:value pairs. You could set the value of that key to false, but in general, the key doesn’t exist until you set it. If it doesn’t find the key, it sets the default behavior.

You should also delete the incorrect key you entered.

defaults delete com.apple.loginwindow DisableScreenLockImmediate
