Screen sharing broken in Sonoma
Tried for hours cannot get this to work after upgrade to Sonoma.

I cannot believe we are still waiting for a fix on this, nearly 8 weeks after the release of Sonoma.
It makes me wonder just how much testing goes into new releases.
I am so close to reverting back to Ventura

It became that bad for me when trying to screen share with a friend, we have had to abandon Safari, go over to Chrome and use Google Remote desktop which is free and works flawlessly.
Since upgrading to Sonoma I can't seem to screen share from my MAC to my LGTV. Any ideas?
I'm using Sonoma 14.2. I also can't share screen through FaceTime (M2 Mac mini). Has anyone figured out a way to solve this problem?

I went in to the mac store and was told to restore everything manually
I had this same problem, then I turned off VPN on macbook and iPad, now works senselessly.
14.1 fixed it, 14.2 reintroduced it :-( What developers do they have? All the time changing?
I have same problem. Sonoma 14.2.1 and a Mac Mini2 and I cannot screen share anymore.

How do you turn it off
Have been testing this solution for the past 24 hours and it seems to be working with Sonoma 14.4 on both machines.
