Caps lock on Macbook Air doesn’t turn off Help! Since today, without any reason, my macbook air seems to be on constant Caps Lock. My first reaction was to restart it (stupid!) and now I can’t even log in anymore, because I need lowercase letters and numbers for that. Does anyone have experience with this and know what to do?

Caps Lock function cannot be turned off Caps Lock Button light (LED) works perfectly fine (turns on/off when pushed) but Caps Lock function remains on no matter what (capital letters, special symbols only). The problem occurred out of the blue when trying to log in on my MacBook Pro M1 2020, newest OS update (it would not accept my password as it could only be written in capital letters. A password reset is not possible as I cannot type correctly both my Apple ID email address as well as my password. Thus it’s impossible to log-in or access the Mac Settings). Important: I had the battery unit (includes the keyboard) replaced half a year ago and it worked perfectly fine. It cannot be a hardware problem because otherwise it would type lower case letters (and the regular set of characters) when holding shift key - but it doesn’t!

Need repair or replacement as i have waranty After using Macbook Air M2 for 4 months i came to know my Caps Lock button doesn't work properly, do waranty has any role for fixing it?
