Try the guidance above to disable Attention Aware Features and then test to see if that makes a difference.

Given that the iPhone 14 Pro Plus model has a ring and silent physical switch, it would be pretty hard for it to be set to silent on its own. You can learn how to switch between silent and ring modes here: Select ringtones and vibrations on iPhone

If you mean that you aren't receiving notifications or alert sounds, we would check for anything that may be preventing that. For example, are you using a Focus mode?
