macos Sonoma does not recognize CalDigit TS3 Ethernet

After upgrading a MacBook Pro M1 Max to macOS Sonoma 14.0, my CalDigit TS3 Ethernet port is no longer recognized as active by macOS. This is true for two of CalDigit TS3s.

When the CalDigit TS3 is connected to a 2019 Intel Core i9 MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura 13.5.2, the Ethernet port is registered as active.

Additionally, a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad also plugged into the CalDigit TS3 can be used, but its Touch ID does not work, whereas it did on the MacBook Pro M1 Max prior to upgrading from Ventura to Sonoma.

Has anyone experienced this and figured out how to resolve?

My current workaround is to plug a Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter into a Studio Display which is connected to the MacBook M1 Max, but I'd like to reclaim that port for something other than Ethernet since the CalDigit used to work.

Thanks for the tip, leroydouglas.

The issues still present despite my installing the latest firmware which is

Firmware v44.1 - To support 87W laptop charging. NOT required for TS3 Plus units purchased after November 2020.
*Last updated on 01/06/20. Requires macOS Catalina 10.15 or above. This updater only works in Intel-Based Macs.

which is nearly 3 years old.

A future firmware update may resolve, so I'll reach out to CalDigit and update with any helpful tips.
