AirPods Crackling sounds

If the issue persists, you can check your AirPods' eligibility for the AirPods Pro Service Program for Sound Issues.

I think apple shall update their AirPods Pro service programme for sound issues as which ever AirPods are included in the programme(as mentioned manufactured before 2020) must have some manufacturing defect and to cover that only for a period of three years tells us that if the problem is arising after three years then its customers fault and not manufacturing fault...also they replace single piece of a pair and what if the remaining piece is also having some problem and starts troubling just after the magical three year period is over ??? and what about covid lockdown ???
