Hello chapmand1952,
We see you need help with the Continuity Camera between your iPhone 14 Pro and Mac mini. You mentioned already making sure both OS versions are updating and both devices are using the same Wi-Fi. That's a great start. We'll continue working from the article that linked you here: Continuity Camera: Use iPhone as a webcam for Mac
Additional requirements
- Your iPhone and Mac must be signed in with the same Apple ID using two-factor authentication. Continuity Camera does not support Managed Apple IDs.
- Your iPhone must have Continuity Camera turned on in Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff. It's turned on by default.
- Your iPhone and Mac must be near each other and have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on.
- Your iPhone must not be sharing its cellular connection and your Mac must not be sharing its internet connection.
- To use Continuity Camera wirelessly, your Mac must not be using AirPlay or Sidecar.
- To use Continuity Camera over USB, your iPhone must be set to trust your Mac.
- Reactions, Presenter Overlay, camera modes, and mic modes have other requirements.
You will also want to make sure your iPhone is not using Low Power Mode. Go to Settings > Battery to disable Low Power Mode if using it.
See if those tips help, then reply back here how it goes.
All the best.
I went through your entire list and found all were correct on my phone and mac mini. Still no wireless connection for continuity camera.
I have also noticed that when email and writing a new email... there is an option to take a photo.. my iPhone is grayed out and not available. I can copy text on my iPhone and paste it into my new email just fine so it seems like the iPhone is talking to the mac mini for 'cut and paste' activity.
I think I may need to call support soon.
Doug
