Imac log-in

I just installed the new IOS Sonoma few days and was able log-in then. Today it's not allowing me to log in with my password. I tried to use the recovery assistant and i went all the way through terms and conditions, read all the conditions but it does not highlight the "AGREE" to continue to the next step. What's step is missing?

iMac 27″, macOS 13.0

If those are the steps you're following, and you've already scrolled down the terms/conditions screen, then we'd like to help by learning more about what's occurring. We also want to rule out some basics:


  1. What exactly occurs when you try logging into your user account as you were able to do this without any issues a few days ago? The more details you provide, the better we'll understand what's happening.
  2. Did you notice this occurring after installing a new app, changing a setting, etc.?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. Check out the section ‘Restart your Mac' here: Shut down or restart your Mac
