Is there a way to fix HomeKit setup problems on Apple Watch?

I just got a new iPhone 15, successfully transferred from old iPhone, everything else on Apple Watch 5 works including wallet, but when going to the home app it asks to setup accessories on my iPhone which they are my new phone

I experienced the same problem on my iPhone 15 PM and Ultra 2, intermittently at first, and then completely. I’d done nothing to my new iPhone or watch outside of keeping them up to date. I tried restarting all Apple devices including hubs, disabling and re-enabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Then I poked around and opened Find My on my phone and noticed that my watch location was undetected. The issue was that I had somehow gotten logged out of iCloud on my watch (iPhone Watch app/General/Apple ID) so I logged back in and HomeKit fully repopulated.

I just upgraded to an iPhone 15 from a backup and figured out that the login to iCloud associated with the Apple Watch did not transition, and while the vast majority of features and functions of the watch were transferred and operational through the Bluetooth connection HomeKit accessories is one area that does require the iCloud account. Once I figured out that the watch was not logged into iCloud it solved my issues. This is what I did, mind you steps 1-3 may not be necessary, I was trying all sorts of things to figure it out.

1 - On the watch turned off WiFi and Bluetooth.

2 - Rebooted the watch.

3 - Turned the watch Bluetooth on.

4 - On the iPhone and in the Apple Watch select General then Apple ID

5 - Enter the Apple ID Password

Once completed I saw the HomeKit app on the iPhone populate with all of my accessories, scenes and favorites.

nothing to do with the home app, it was with my Apple Watch where I could not see my HomeKit devices on it, I was able to fix by turning off Bluetooth and wifi rebooting appple watch and my HomeKit devices started to populate the watch home app, then turning Bluetooth and wifi back on and rebooting the Apple Watch again

Hey Many76,

What specific message do you see in the Home app when trying to view your devices? The specific message you receive will help us better assist you.

Additionally, we'd recommend ensuring both your Apple Watch and paired iPhone are fully updated. There have been some additional incremental updates released in the past few days.

Cheers!

Same problem. Apple support is a farce. Only foreigners who don't understand my language answer and always ask the same useless questions. A bot would be more useful.
