I'm not sure if the following is the "replacement policy" that you are referring to but it is the only one that I know of for any model of AirPods. It applies even if they are out of warranty as long as it has been 3 years or less since the original date of sale.See: AirPods Pro Service Program for Sound Issues - Apple Support
