iOS will not display google home app notifications for my doorbell

Notifications on iOS phone have stopped working.

I setup Google Home App with doorbell on iPhone about 1 year ago

Was working fine and then recently noticed that I stopped getting any doorbell notifications

I went and checked iPhone Settings -> Apps -> Notifications - Google Home app was set to alert for all notifications

I went and checked in the home app itself in settings - all notifications are active

Deleted the app and then re-installed, signed in and still cant get any notifications.

Where to now?

NOTE: My phone is not iPhone 4s iOS 9 - Not sure why apple has tried to guess that - it's an iPhone 14 on latest iOS

Hi whitsey!,

If you're not getting notifications and everything is set properly, including no set Focus, you'll need to reach out to Apple to look into this with you further. You can get started on that here: Get Support

You might have solved this by now but I was having this trouble earlier, where the Google Home app wasn't in my list of installed apps (under Notifications). Go into the Settings of the Google Home app and under "Home features," I activated notifications in there and now Google Home is appearing in my notifications list.
