Changing the name of Beats Studio Pro

I changed the name of my new Beats Studio Pro Headphones and they crashed. Not just one pair but two! I tried changing the name back but to no avail. I know it was the name only because on the second pair because they were fine two minutes in no and I was like oh yeah let me put my ID on them and I watched the transformation with my own eyes take place. They began to identify themselves as earbuds…also wouldn’t show proper battery level nor would the volume levels work. I reset everything to be reset on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Beats and put the ever so loving and cherished name back to what it was… nope! I’ve reached out once again to support but WHY? Anyone else have/had this happen?

Thx my friend and yeah I’ve contacted support. That second pair I spoke of was a replacement. I was just hoping someone had maybe experienced the issue and had a fix because unfortunately I’m getting a bit of the runaround passed off with the “Engineer” comment. I was to get a call on Friday… no call. I reached out and asked what happened and I was contacted this morning with now it’s going to be Wednesday before the engineer can see about the escalation of the situation because it wasn’t done. All the while my headphones are dropping their connections and glitchy and I have an active subscription to AppleCare+ I have done everything by the book and don’t quite understand why I had to even wait almost 10 days after I paid the express replacement deposit to get my Beats in the first place. They put the hold on my card and didn’t even ship them for almost 2 wks with the first set that was totally nonfunctional. I figured out on the second ones that the name change happened because I watched it happen with my own eyes. I tried to explain all this but it seems to me that at times people document what they want and make situations more complicated than need be.

Thank you! Yes I’ve taken those steps and I do appreciate all the assistance and therefore will continue to wait on the next phase of support. If by chance someone comes across anything I do hope they will share any and all helpful feedback. I will do the same. Thx everyone!
