MacOS Sonoma Wallpapers not downloading

Hi there! I've updated my Mac Mini M1 to Sonoma and when I try to download the new wallpapers, it seems like they take a lot of time, more than 20-30 minutes. While waiting, I noticed that for some reason it stopped the downloading process. Is there anything I can do about this? The Mac is up-to-date, I was on the beta version but not anymore and the device is not going to sleep while downloading the wallpaper.

Somehow, I have managed to download just 1 which took around an hour or so.

The home broadband is high-speed and I don't think there is an issue here.

Looking forward to your replies.

Thank you in advance!

This is the way. I turned on my VPN and the wallpapers DL in about 10 seconds. I'm using Express VPN. This seems to indicate that some ISPs may be blocking these DLs. Optimum (ISP) blocks images in text messages when their system is busy. I have to turn on a VPN to send an image in the Messages app...

I've found a not-so-pleasant workaround. If you have a second monitor, connect your Mac to it and you can potentially download the wallpapers. Open the wallpaper page in the settings on your Mac screen, and move anything you want to work on, to the monitor, BUT keep them on one desktop and avoid making any of them fullscreen. Moving between apps in fullscreen mode, causes the download to stop. This way I've been able to reach around 60% download progress, but the download still fails at that point. Hopefully, you're lucky enough to reach 100%.

Apple should fix this issue as soon as possible

Hi, I am also facing the same issue. However, I downloaded caffeine and it stops the MacBook from sleeping due to which my downloading of wallpaper doesn't stop. The speed is low but within a minute or two the download gets completed. Earlier, the MacBook used to get into the sleep mode due to which my wallpapers were not downloading after multiple attempts. This one worked for me, it won't improve the speed but it prevents the MacBook from sleep.
