How to create link in Contact (iCloud) to Photo for opening from another device? Without duplication in same photo?

I need to help to create contact (containing iCloud link to a photo) to be viewed on another device of same Apple ID. Opening contact on the other device created another identical photo which unnecessarily consumes photo storage space.

How to avoid creating another identical photo when, from another device (iPhone), opening its iCloud link within a Contact created from this device ( iPad)?

How to have create iCloud link for a Photo in Contacts to use in another device (same Apple ID) and not have duplicated photo?

Hi Sunnyintoronto123,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

This questions isn't exactly clear. It sounds like you have an iCloud Photo link and you want to create a contact and use the link for the photo that can be viewed from another device. When you open the link to iCloud, tap and hold the photo to save it. Once it's saved, create the contact and add the photo. You'll be able to delete the photo from Photos app once you have created the contact.

Provide clarifying details if this doesn't answer your question.

Regards.
