Since the device is enrolled in an MDM program, you will need to work with the administrator. The reason for this, is we have no way of knowing what restrictions are in place for the devices they manage. Also, it's not clear what the 2 factor authentication is in reference to. Is it for your Apple ID or something else?
If it's to do with your Apple ID, tell us a bit more about what you're doing with the device and when this alert appears, and we may be able to offer some guidance.
Until you can connect with someone in your originization, you might try force restarting your MacBook to see if that helps restore function.
