Open Sirius app. Choose desired station. Select More Devices (Looks like a TV screen emoji). Select your HomePod. Enjoy! Do this all the time.

think all radio stuff the homepod does is using TuneIn TuneIn Radio | (100,000+ Stations) Free Live News, Sports, Music, & Podcasts
if sxm is not a channel that they have in TuneIn or if it its own radio app then I don't believe you can
I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with SXM Tech Support. They weren’t able to get it to work! Thanks so much for your reply! Works like a charm!
Any chance you know how to engage Siri to change SXM channels on Apple HomePod?
