LAS,
Make sure the purchased song is on your computer and is in unprotected AAC format. The "unable to convert" could mean that you are looking at protected files from your Apple Music subscription, rather than purchased files.
LAS,
The MP3s undoubtedly have the artwork embedded in each song file. The other files, which I assume you got from the iTunes Store, probably have their art "the iTunes way," i.e., as a separate JPG. Thus when the file is copied outside, the artwork is left behind.
If you want, you can embed artwork in the other files. Find the JPG online, and paste it in using right-click, Get Info, Artwork tab. Then re-copy the file to the USB.
Thank you. All 21 songs purchased downloaded and transferred to UBS drive. Only problem now is; out of the 21 songs, only two show artwork. I noticed the 2 that show artwork are MP3 audio, the others are MPEG-4 audio. Any suggestions?
