iPhone Calendar sending multiple / repeat alerts

With this going on for so long, that suggests it's more likely to be a settings-based issue than anything overtly software related. So we'd recommend going through the Calendar notifications per Keep track of events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support and see if those are set the way you'd expect, particularly when it comes to Alert settings.

I'd like to chime in here because this is an issue with iOS calendar events that has existed for several months. I'm not sure which os update triggered it, but we run our own mail server (Kerio) and at first we thought it was that. But I'm hearing stories of this happening with other servers including on-premise Exchange and O365.

This is becoming a significant issue as we send and reply to many events with consultants and clients. As a 75 person office it's difficult to be taken seriously when we can't even control other businesses getting flooded with duplicate replies.

Kerio replied to my repeated support requests that their hands are tied and cannot do anything about it, as it is an apple iOS issue. We run outlook for Mac on our laptops so I don't know if the issue exists in apple mail as well. Thanks.
