Using 2 iCloud accounts on the same phone

I have trouble setting up a work/private device.

My Goal is to use the iPhone privately as usual with the services I use, like Photo, iTunes, Wallet, Facetime, Mail, Contacts and so on.

For this example, let's call this Apple ID I use on my iPhone 12 running iOS 17.0.3 : PrivateID@email.com

Now my workplace has agreed to get iPhones, and they offer iPhones 15 with iOS 17.0.3 as a workphone.

I've taken that offer and loaded it with an Apple ID they created for me where they have strict guidelines on emails and stuff: I need the Work ID in iTunes to download various apps. Mostly Microsoft things like Teams and outlook ect.

The Apple ID we in this example call WorkID@Workplace.com

So I figured I'd use my workphone as the only device, as it supports DualSim cards, and get access to all my photos on the phone, with out sharing these with the Boss.

Also I need to take sales pictures for the clients, that I don't really want in my Photo cloud.

Is this doable, or should I keep walking around with 2 phones?

Hello The_Maxx,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are wanting to use a work and personal Apple ID on the same iPhone. Based on your description, this will probably cause more issue than is solves, such as any photo taken will be uploaded to iCloud if enabled, which you stated you don't want this to happen with work related pictures. To let Apple know you would like this as an option in the future, please do that here: Product Feedback - Apple

Cheers!
