iCloud+ Subscription payment failure with PayPal

I get constant notifications from settings that my iCloud+ subscription can’t be processed because there is a problem with payment. I have tried deleting and adding my card back, rebooting devices, deleting and adding my card back in PayPal but nothing is working.


iCloud also doesn’t let me to change my payment plan to free one so I could change the payment plan to something else.


about to lose my mind because settings keep spamming me with notifications.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We'll be happy to help with those notifications and your iCloud+ subscription. Did you try adding a different payment method to your account? If not, let's do that now: Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support


If you run into an issue, that may be related to another billing or account issue. If the new card works, there may be an issue with the other payment method.
