Call forwarding removed on iPhone?

I want to forward calls from my iPhone to another number. I looked up online and it said go to Settings > Phone and enable call forwarding. But I don’t see this option to enable. My carrier has it enabled and *67 does not work. Why has this been taken away?

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Phone settings are set by the carrier, so if you are missing a setting you need to contact your carrier. Some carriers never allow call forwarding to be set from a phone, only by contacting their tech support. And the vertical service code *67 is not universal, either; not all carriers support it.

Have you checked for a carrier settings update→Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If that doesn’t resolve it I’d say that your carrier is lying. Don’t go to a carrier shop; they are only sales people, and are not required to be technically trained. Call support, and ask to be escalated to a higher level tech. The first line support people are evaluated on how many calls they can complete in an hour, not how many customer problems they can solve.
