Unknown Error. Messages MacBook Sign-In

I continue to be unable to sign into Messages on my Macbook Pro. I'm on Monterey 12.6.3. This has been going on for months. I know the username and password are correct. It doesn't matter what Wi-Fi I'm connected to or if I tether to my phone. No error code or anything aside from "Unknown Error." I tried restarting my computer with no change.

Can't login to Messages ("An unknown error occurred") I'm using the latest Macbook Pro (M2) running Ventura 13.4.1 and cannot login to Messages. Each time I try, I get an error message that says, "An unknown error occurred". (Such an unhelpful error message; seems like something one would find on a Windows machine instead of a Mac.) Unknown error message When I try to sign in on my Mac for Imessage with Apple ID + password, I get message "An unknown error occurred". Ironically, ID + password worked to get in forum!

macbook pro m1 imessage An unknown error occurred HI, New MacBook Pro M1 to replace 2014 iMac. AppleID and pwd work online/web, in Music on iPhone and iPad. iMessage returns 'An unknown error occurred'. Tried what I could, from the logging out from the old iMac, log in to different local user account then back to my user account..... to removal of a few plist files as suggested in a developer post to no avail. What else can be tried? Thanks in advance for any help!!
