Images appear as black files

I have problems with some photos that appear as black images on preview.

I can see correctly the thumbnails in the folder but if I try to enlarge the file or open it in preview it becomes black.

Any help is appreciated.

These may be raw files. Verify your camera's RAW support is available to the OS you are using or the graphics software you are using. http://www.lemkesoft.com/ GraphicConverter is one of the more transparent sharewares that let you view photos from a wide variety of sources. Though it does not have the multiple layering that Photoshop and Photoshop Elements have.
