Error uploading asset: quota exceeded. What does this mean?

Trying to unzip a file using files app.

Despite having plenty of free storage, the app store is not letting me download a large app. I was trying to download Death Stranding: Directors Cut earlier today, however every time I attempt to download it, I get an error stating that I don't have enough free storage. The Disk Utility reports that i have 93 GBs of free storage and the app takes up 73, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this message.

Storage fluctuating? I was working recently when I noticed that I was running low on storage space, around 11 GB so be exact, I edit videos so I know that the assets I use are what's taking so much space in my storage. I then deleted few files just to make room for a couple more downloads, I only cleaned around 2 GB of space. I then noticed that my storage space suddenly increased to 50 GB, I have no idea as to how this happened when I've only cleaned up so little storage. This sometimes happens the other way, my storage space suddenly drops to 5GB or less when I know that I still have around 30 GB of storage space. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

File compression / Zip error: Couldn’t communicate with a helper application I cannot compress a folder. I check permissions and cannot see any problem regarding permissions. I can zip a few documents but cannot compress on my project folder.

Is this on an iPad? iPhone?

It seems that you may have exceeded the available space in your iCloud account. The free tier gets you 5GB.

You posted this on the Compressor forum, but it seems that this is unrelated. Compressor is a Mac application for compressing video files.
