M1 MacBook Pro losing Volume
While watching a film or YouTube the volume drops very low. The controls are all set at about three quarters. After some time the volume comes back. This does not happen on headphones or AirPods. Any thoughts.

Greetings owlthorp,
We understand that you're experiencing sound issues with your Mac and we'd like to provide you with some guidance:
Be sure your Mac is running the latest software version. This is to ensure that it has all the latest fixes:
"Check your sound settings
First, disconnect any cables from the USB, Thunderbolt, or 3.5mm audio ports on your Mac.
More details here: If the internal speakers on your Mac aren't working
If the issue persists, we suggest that you have your Mac evaluated by a certified Apple technician. You can follow this link to connect with them: Mac Repair & Service
All the best.
Just to make it clear the sound drops and returns after a while. I keep the OS updated I have never used the 3.5mm outlet, The volume does not go it drops right down you can just hear it. In settings it is still indicating internal speakers.
