using my imac with architectural software

how can I use revit and my other graphics architectural applications with my new 24-inch Silver iMac with Apple M1 chip with 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, 8-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine, NEURAL ENGINE 065-C9GM 16-core Neural Engine and 16GB unified memory. Currently, the computer is very slow when running Windows on Parallels Desktop while using architectural software like Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Lumion. What are we doing wrong and how can it be fixed.

Hi,

I just wonder if your architectural softwares are ARM, Apple silicon native applications or intel ones. If they are latter, your iMac need to translate to ARM codes from intel with Rosetta which makes your iMac slower.

I would invite the developers of Parallels to the conversation. As kaz-k wisely illustrates, the Windows-on-Mac market changed catastrophically when Apple left Intel processor behind. Lots of new challenges for the emulator developers.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes. Most are from intel. In this case, what options do we have to resolving this? How do other architects and graphic users solve this problem and get their computers to work faster? Does anyone know what the solution is?
