set up voicemail in ios 16.7

I got a new SIM card from my cell provider (Consumer Cellular) and upgraded to IOS 16.7. I can't set up voice mail. I put in my PIN and the DONE button is greyed out. I talked to my provider and they confirmed my 4 digit pin. Any suggestions?

Voicemail was working a few months ago when I had it setup as my phone. Now it’s my son’s phone setup with a new talk and text plan and voicemail access no longer works but it’s now on a newer version of iOS so a couple variables are at play. During support call with my phone Carrier we discovered this could be an Apple software issue because the voicemail access works on my iPhone 14 with the SIM card from the iPhone XR, however when I do the opposite and put the SIM from my iPhone 14 into the iPhone XR my voicemail didn’t work either. So it appears to be a problem with the software/hardware on the iPhone XR.

Voicemail set up iPhone 14 pro I cannot set up voicemail on this phone. I switched carriers to Verizon, who are supposed to be working on the issue, but nothing yet and it has been 3 weeks. Any suggestions? Is it an Apple issue or a carrier problem?

Voicemail is a carrier-provided function. If it doesn’t work only the carrier can fix it.
