Apple Passwords - How change website

When I want to update the website associated with a username and password, it will not allow me. I have to delete the password and start all over again. Is there a way to just update the website?

See the article Change Passwords preferences in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Note : you can't update the web site , first you have to remove user name and its password , then add new web site details another user name and its password .
