Should I update my Mac to Sonoma?

Hey y'all, Just looking for some personal opinions and Advice. My Mac is currently running Mac OS Ventura 13.6 I noticed this bug in this latest update of Ventura. Has anyone else seen this? is 13.6 the final/ and last update for Ventura? If So, I am glad. Is it worth updating to Sonoma? I really do want to update my Mac but I am afraid of it looking like my screenshot if I do it! Hopefully if I upgrade to Sonoma I won't have this problem. Any advice or opinions is greatly appreciated.

If by "bug" you mean the border around the screen, that's normal behavior when you click on the Desktop, which hides any open windows. Sonoma does the same. I'm not on Ventura at the moment but I believe you can change the behavior in System Settings > Desktop & Dock. Change the "Click wallpaper to reveal desktop" setting.

Ya, But it randomly does this and When it does happen I have to restart my Mac or log out to get everything back. No data is lost. It just randomly does this. This isn't normal behavior.

Well, it never did it "randomly: when I was running Ventura on my Macs and doesn't do it now in Sonoma. Test while in Safe Mode and/or while logged in to a different user account.

?_? Not sure I understand. I guess I am just wasting my time in the forums. lol

You keep posting a picture and say, “look at the obvious bug,” yet don’t explain at all what you think is a bug. I can’t see anything wrong. Some have guessed at what they think you mean, but you haven’t explicitly pointed it out.

If you truly think it is a bug, then you are wasting your time as none of us can do anything about a bug. You need to talk to Apple.
