Hi! im sorry my macbook pro got updated a week ago to the new mac os sonoma but every time im using it or watching something it auto mutes it self frome one second to another. and keeps doing it from time to time

I have the same issue but left speaker works sometimes. You may try yo kill coreaudiod and see whether it will help or not.
Does it happen with both speakers? Also, does sound totally vanish?
