15 Pro makes me backup everytime I open iTunes to move music

I upgraded from XR to 15 Pro and am using the same iTunes on my PC computer. My problem is when I try to add or remove music it automatically backs up the phone. XR never did this. This is a good 20-25 minutes everyday. Now here is the kicker. When I open iTunes for the first time of the day, under "latest backup" it shows the day before and time for the backup. BUT when I add music and click "apply", the "latest backup" goes blank and it says "there is no back up on this computer yet"....and then backs up....

I have changed nothing in iTunes and can't figure out if there is something on the 15 Pro doing it.

~ I also got my first iWatch, the Series 9, boy that is a learning curve from my Casio Calculator watch......

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17
