Printer says "You must be an administrator to delete this job."

Since updating to Ventura, I'm no longer able to cancel print jobs or pause the print queue:

I am an admin.

Suggestions? Already deleted and added the printer in System Prefs. No dice.

How to find a printer 'service' on MacOs for uninstallation? I just updated my M2 Air to Sequoia 15.1. When it completed and I logged in, a window appeared with a message about my old printer. I assumed it would reappear on a future restart so I ignored it and I didn't take a screenshot. I think it was talking about some service supporting the printer not being supported any more. It doesn't reappear on restart. I'm a techy but a MacOS novice. I Googled for Event Viewer equivalent and found Console but I don't really know what I'm looking for or which part to search. Google tells me there's no equivalent to Add/Remove Programs but to look in Applications/Utilities. There's nothing with the Canon name in there or that sounds like a printer utility. How can I find this 'service', whatever it is, and uninstall it?

I suggest you create a second Admin user, login with it and retest. It's possible your existing admin user profile is corrupt.
