SMS verification codes no longer auto-filled

Hi! When I get a SMS verification code it no longer gives me an option to use auto fill. I have to go out of the app/website and into my texts to retrieve the code. Before it would pop up above the keyboard and I could select it to auto fill. Any suggestions on how to fix or why this has happened?
