How much does a battery cost for an iphone XR?

Whether to replace the battery or buy a new phone is up to you. iPhone XR is getting up their in age as it was released in 2018, 5 years ago. It would not be unusual for this to be the last year for major iOS updates for the XR. There have been some pretty major upgrades to iPhone in the last 5 years. I know that I would personally buy a newer, more modern iPhone.

If the XR is providing the features that you need, an $89 investment will deliver 2-3 more years of service, so you save $700-900 or more for the future.

If a new phone has features that you need and don't have now, then it probably makes sense to go for the new phone now.

As we noted above in our response.........if the XR is providing the service that you need......it might make sense to consider the new battery.

Since you now say that the XR is....... not functioning like it should ......it sounds like the decision has already been made.
