Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through it limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. To extend that coverage and get additional benefits, you’ll need an AppleCare+ plan.

You can buy an AppleCare+ plan for your iPhone within 60 days of purchase using any of the following methods:

    • On your iPhone (go to Settings > General > About and choose Add AppleCare+ Coverage)
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of iPhone and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 800-275-2273 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)
