Manually add song to iPhone with PC?

Where did the iTunes "Add to Device" option go? I want to manually add a song from iTunes (PC) to my iPhone and I can't figure out how to do it anymore. I do NOT want to sync.

Previously, I'd right click on a song in iTunes and "Add to Device." I did this as recently as March. I have searched and searched and can't figure out how to manually add new songs to my iPhone anymore.

I have:

iTunes 12.12.10.1

Windows 11 (no updates pending)

iPhone SE with iOS 16.7

Thanks

Hello emjba,

We have a few steps that can help with adding songs onto your device from iTunes. Check out the steps here: Sync iTunes content on PC with your devices - Apple Support. You'll want to follow the steps to manually add information to your device.

Add items to your device manually
You can add music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts to your device manually. You can’t add photos, contacts, or other info manually.

1. Connect your device to your computer.
2. You can connect your device using a USB or USB-C cable or a Wi-Fi connection. To turn on Wi-Fi syncing, see Sync iTunes content on PC with devices on Wi-Fi.
3. In the iTunes app  on your PC, choose an option (Music or Movies, for example) from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.
4. The Library button in the navigation bar.
5. In your iTunes library, click Downloaded in the sidebar on the left.
6. Note: You can only add items you downloaded to a device.
7. Right-click an item, choose Add to Device, then choose your device.

To remove an item that was added manually, click On My Device, select an item (or items), press the Delete key, then click Delete.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
