How Do I Reply To Someone in a Closed Thread (where the reply button is grayed out)?

There's a thread that is helpful to me topic wise, but I don't get the solution that is posted. I would like to reply to that person and ask for more detail, but the Reply button is now blued out. What can I do? Thanks.

Unfortuately, there is nothing you can do; once an thread is closed, it cannot be opened again. And, because many posters never return, there isn't any advantage of posting something with their name. The best would be to start a new thread with your problem and post a link to the closed thread.
