No Service after iOS 17.0.3 Update

i got a notification to update my iPhone 14 promax to iOS 17.03 which I did. After the update, my device has been displaying no service. I have done all the recommended solutions on google ( removed and reinserted the sim, reset settings, hard restart, no iOS update). Is there any other option to explore?

Update on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

After almost 2 weeks with TOTAL no services (can't read SIM card), suddenly 2 days ago, my service appeared back for some minutes. And went back to no service again.

Yesterday, i got signal for several hours before it disappeared again. Tried restart and other things but didn't work.

Today, my signal has appeared since morning. I can send SMS dan phone call. I didn't do any update, just reinserted SIM card and on/off airplane mode.

If this **** bug not coming back again, I have no reason to immediately update iOS 17.1 when it's launched. I'm sure there will be another bug.

I suggest you guys disable auto update software. Better to wait 1/2 months after the latest updated released.

I have had this issue on my 14 Pro Max, running on 17.0.3, where my network was completely knocked out for over two hours one day while I was on cellular. It was 'No Service', and multiple restarts, aeroplane mode switch, network settings reset DID NOT resolve this issue. I had two sim cards on my device coincidentally, one eSim one physical, and neither was working, so it was not an issue with the carrier settings as well. I tried enabling/disable both sim cards, nothing changed. It fixed itself two hours later.

Yesterday while I was on cellular once again, it was showing me bars on my cellular connection, but there were no calls coming in. Any body calling me was getting a 'Busy' message and then disconnected. Outgoing calls simply showed 'call failed'. This was fixed after an aeroplane mode switch.

Given the price of this device, and on a country like India where it cost me 1800$ for this device, this is absolutely unacceptable. I should not have to worry about why this is happening, software or what not. I shall wait for another update and monitor the connection in the time being. If it is not fixed, I'm going to have to switch to another manufacturer. I cannot accept the fact that a device which is shooting ProRes video cannot handle cellular connectivity.

Hi!

Sorry to disappoint you all but I just updated to IOS 17.1

As expected at this point, no improvements… No mobile service at all. I’ve also tried everything again (restart, reset network…) with the new iOS but nothing good happened…

I am changing phones straight away… iPhone is going to the trash, even though I have and love my MacBook… Good luck with your iPhones guys… Really upset…

im not really sure what you mean by channel

but i was contacted by Apple Care team ****

At day 1, i tried everything: reinsert; on/off airplane mode; restart network settings; use another sim card; restart phone many times. Nothing worked.

For almost 2 weeks, i just reinsert SIM card and on/off everyday. Suddenly my iPhone was back to normal again, the network was back

Apparently this is not just an iOS 17 issue.

Just upgraded my like new iPhone 6s Plus from 14.something to iOS 15.8.

After the update signal strength / signal is in the toilet.

Where I was seeing 1 and 2 bars with iOS 14 I now see NO SERVICE.

WiFi is working BUT for some reason when NO SERVICE is displayed then WiFi Calling is not functioning / available.

This seem to be some bug introduced by Apple. Unfortunately they will likely ignore it and those searching for a fix in a effort to sell a new phone. Great for the shareholders I guess.
