To work at apple..is Ai something that is being developed?

Siri Ai? I am curious if machine learning is being used in some way? what type of experience would I need to get hired to work on this training model?

As commonly used, "AI" is a longstanding and over-hyped concept in computing, dating back to the ~1980s, and which can loosely be translated as Advertisements and Investments. Best mind your wallet, here.


ML is a black box of statistical algorithms and matrix math that can scan corpora to produce outcomes ranging from useful to convenient to catastrophically wrong. When appropriately housebroken and carefully constrained, ML works well.
