Storage Shows 80gb of Applications But I Don't even have 10gb.....

Storage on my 2020 MacBook Air m1 running Sonoma is full due to 80GB of Applications installed. I hardly have any applications installed so how could this be? I store the bulk of my applications on an External SSD. System Preferences shows over 80gb how ever if I Get Info of the Applications folder in Finder it says I the size of the Applications folder is only 7gb. Where is the other 73GB of applications hiding and how can I free up that space on my Macintosh HD. I have already tried resyncing spotlight. If anyone else has a fix. Thanks in advance!

I ended up finding over 60 gb from Omnisphere by Spectrasonics hiding in the Application Support folder. Fortunately I can relocate those files within the app. If I couldn’t I was thinking I could move the files to my external then create alias file to paste inside the Application Support folder
