I want to replace song sheet text-ukulele chord names- with a single letter code that that is linked to a special installed font that produces ukulele chord diagrams. The replace description is a letter code (such as a A or j) in a specific font -"GCEAchord" and font size? LibreOffice and word allows this but I want to do the work in Pages. Any ideas?

Pages has never been designed to be a Word clone and has no advanced find/replace functionality as that found in Word clones. I recommend that you use the tools that feature an advanced find/replace such as LibreOffice or Word.

I do not know of any font in Pages that will show chord diagrams.
Perhaps another user can correct me.
The only suggestion I have is to use a lookup table that shows (in a series of columns) the finger positions on the fretboard for each ukulele chord.
Or do a web search for ukulele tablature.
