iPhone 15 Pro Max - photos shoot

  1. How to take good pictures and videos of the Milky Way with iPhone 15 Pro Max?
  2. Not sure what happens, sometimes when I shoot at a distance of 25 x it seems to loose some of it resolution.

  1. As you already know, we, Earth, Moon, Sun, Solar System etc., are part of the Milky Way galaxy. For example, if you have taken a picture of the moon, then you have taken a picture of a part of the Milky Way galaxy. If you want great pictures of different parts of the Galaxy, then a cell phone is not the way to go. If this is your serious hobby, then you need to invest in a DSLR and DSLR camera accessories designed for this purpose.
  2. When you shoot beyond the optical zoom capability of any camera, then it uses the crop and enlarge feature of the camera. This is why you lose resolution and therefore clarity. The optical zoom capability of your iPhone is 5X. Anything beyond that is called digital zoom and that is nothing but crop and enlarge.
