Keyboard and track pad marks on my screen

I recently bought a new MacBook PRO 14" at the end of March. I noticed in July that there are like little marks being made from my keyboard and trackpad on my screen. We are only talking about a 4 month old machine. I spoke to international support centre and they say it must be a manufacturing fault to be marked so quickly. I have had Mac computers since 2005 and I have never ever had this before. I still work on my old MacBook Pro 15" and it does not have this problem. I look after my equipment so well and my machine is not abused at all. I really need help please. Has anyone else had this problem and how can I chat to Apple head office about my problem as the distributor in South Africa is not good at all and this is a $4000 machine??? Please can someone help me???? Thanks Bev

If you search this community you'll find numerous threads on his very topic.

I just wipe the screen ever so often with a clean dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and etc and move on.

If you feel the situations is a real problem, take it to apple for possible warranty adjustment if it's still under warranty. I encourage to buy the extended warranty if you still can. Without it, all repairs for any reason after the one year warranty expires will be yours to pay if there is no official service program. And currently there isn't one for this situation.

** the overall truth of the matter is Apple doesn't do preventive maintenance. Only when it actually breaks can it repaired.
